Athletic TrainingAt Flathead Performance Training our Athletic Trainers have the education and experience to rehabilitate you back to sport, work or life after an injury, help to correct biomechanical faults that can lead to an injury and help you to improve your overall athleticism. The Athletic Trainers at SPORT Center have a diverse background of education and experience, and we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality care and athletic training to each client. Athletic Trainers are health care professionals that must graduate with a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited athletic training education program and pass a comprehensive certification test administered by an independent Board of Certification. They must also meet ongoing continuing education requirements to remain certified. Athletic Training degree programs include but are not limited to the following specific subject matter areas; Human Anatomy/Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology/Biomechanics, Nutrition, Conditioning and Rehabilitative Exercise. In many states, including Montana, Athletic Trainers must also be licensed to practice and provide Athletic Training services.
